    Hi all,
    quick question. Are there any decent coin shops/dealers in or around Baltimore? I going down for the weekend, IF I have time I'd like to check them out.

    Thanks in Advance!

    There are always some coin shows on weekends in and around the mid atlantic area. Some are listed in the back pages of Coin World. you may also want to check the yellow pages of the local phone book for leads. A word to the wise thro... I never would give out more infro than needed when visiting a shop you never been in before. Don't let on that you're out of state or just visiting. Even the best dealers can become greedy in this economy! Savage Mills has a huge section of all sorts of colectables. I have been there before myself. I believe there is a coin show in Annapolis this weekend in a VFW and there are two shops in Annapolis I know of that I found visiting friends while in state. Good Luck

    I've done business with both of these shops: Certified Rarities, 1447 York Rd # 310 Lutherville, MD 21093-6072 - (410) 494-7373;
    Harford Coin Inc
    8722 Satyr Hill Road
    Parkville, MD 21234-2826
    (410) 665-1814

    I used both of them and never felt like I overpaid or got ripped off. I think Harford Coins has been in business > forty years.
    Both are located north of the city.

    Last year I bought a ten ounce silver bullion bar from baltimore Gold and Silver 113 N. Charles St. Baltimore, MD 21201
