a mechanical doubling ?

    Might as well start it out this way :confused: I left the pic's small.. seems trying to make them big just dont work.. is this a mechanical doubling?
    If I have learned one thing here, it's that most are..
    oh.. almost forgot.. this is a 68 half.

    Benz Coinz, Thanks , I did go read Mechanical Doubling Damage vs. Hub Doubling. Im learing slow but sure..:) I read every thing there, and the pictures help a lot /to understand between the two. Takes a while to know... for sure.. I pretty much know when it's a mechanical doubling,{most are}
    I guess I just wish I was wrong and it would be the real thing once.
    Im pretty sure I have a 72 dd.. I would put it on here but can't get a good scan..Just one letter looks doubled..to me, and thats the W but im pretty sure it is a true doubled die.. No ideal even what it would be worth.. But happy to {at least think} I found one:D May???be
