P1010430.jpg P1010431.jpg I just got this 1976 Half dollar in change at a local mini-mart. The edge of the reverse appears to have been struck with a die cap resulting in a incuse brockage image. it has a raised and spread image from the incuse design of the cap. WHAT DO U THINK "COUNTERBROCKAGE or something else." IF SO WHAT DO YOU THINK THE VALUE WOULD BE. included images. thanks

    kobalt,

There is no need to start multiple threads to ask the same question. I believe your question was answered on one of your other threads - the anomaly is a 'cud', not a 'counterbrockage'.

    From CoinFacts.com:

I see no evidence your coin was struck by a capped die. The raised metal on your coin is a cud and was caused by a portion of the reverse die breaking off. It is a very neat error and a great find.
