when comparing the 2 varietys of the 1973 quarter what do you look for what is the difference and how do you tell it? the charlton 2011 catalogue is not very detailed in what to look for. thanks
I'm assuming you're asking about the difference between the large bust and small bust. The easiest way to tell the difference is by the distance of the dots from the edge of the coin. In the large bust the dots are almost touching the edge.
