Like ive told every one I've been going through my uncles collection.

Ive also mentioned he was in WWII so im guessing thats where he picked them up.

I know the coin looks in bad shape, but its not. the pic is just a bad one.

Can someone tell me about it, a couple of web sites said they were worth about .50

    Is that acurate?

not really much to say about this coin. It's a 10 reichspfennig minted durring the third reich. the 10 reichspfennig in 1940 saw a change on the obverse of the coin, and also the composition changed from aluminum-bronze to zinc. this is why most of these coins look the way they do. 7 mints minted the year , I canot make out the mint mark on your pieces because the photo is a bit too fuzzy but the mint mark is located between the wreth under the denomination on the reverse.

    mint marks are as followed : A B D E F G J

    a- berlin
    d- munich
    e- muldenhutten
    f- stuttgart
    g- karlsruhe
    j- hamburg

Got this coin (1940 A) for free from some nice seller when i bought another coin on eBay. So 50 cents is the right price, F/G/J mints coin might go up to $1.50 in an XF/AU.
