the same chance that every jefferson he has listed is FS and every PR coin he has listed is 70. a Shameless Self-Slabber that must do it out of his own basement.

NNC has been around for a while. And yes I look at it as self slabbing.

another wonderful asset to the grading field. somebody who puts 70s on EVERYTHING
like we need more of them. they may make proof coins cheaper than normal though
because people don't like the knockoff slabs

It's really a shame because a nice VF20 is hard to get without the distraction of overgrading.

i actually did see one of these slabs at the dealer i get supplies from. it was a 1843 or whatever later date large cent. everytime i walk in i ask if they got something new and the owner pulled that out 1 day and asked me if it looked like a XF 45 which it was clearly more like a VF.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Looks recolored and overgraded, but not really that bad of a coin.

NNC has been around since about 2002 and the company is owned by the person running that eBay auction. He is also an excellent grader (winner of the PCGS World Series of Grading), too bad he doesn't apply his excellent skills to the coins he slabs. Actually I don't thing he is too far off on this one. Most of the missing hair detail on Liberty is probably due to strike.

Your kidding? I guess that is one way to boost sales. What a shame.
