1966 sms ms65 & ms68

    The difference between a 65 and a 68.....

    And the difference is accentuated greatly because that 65 is no 65 !

    I've seen a few with similar characteristics at 65... ie- a couple heavy nics, but otherwise clean and good luster. This 65 does have nice luster, mirrored finish, nice nic free reverse... but as you can see, has nics, kinda a mushy obv strike..... could be a 64,, no lower imo.
    The 68 glows in normal ambient room light... more of a bright silky luster than the mirrored 65. very clean and sharp strike......
    it solicited the 67 wow from me when I got it..... above that I really don't have any delimiters for judging..... so this sample will serve as my in hand guage in the future.

    That's what I was thinking with those two hits to the forehead. Lincoln and head shots just don't work.
