Wisconsin Quarter/ Extra Leaf?

    Is this what is considered the extra leaf variety?(The leaf on the left?) There is also what looks like another leaf on the right. If you look in the pic, there is a missing indention on the leaf on the corn and it looks like that is where the mark on the right came from. What are ya'll's thoughts on this?

    This is not one of the recognized extra leaf errors. It looks like a die chip maybe.

    There are two varieties of extra leaf WI SQ's. In both cases, it appears below the leftmost leaf. One is positioned high just beneath the leaf, but it is considerably narrower. The other is further below the leftmost leaf and is also considerably narrower.

    You can find photos of both varieties in the Cherrypickers Guide, Volume IV or I would imagine if you Googled "Extra Leaf", you will probably find some photos of them.
