Found a 1937 G-VG Wheat Cent in this box. Also what may be a 1998 D WAM ? It has a wider spread than the others, but I don;t have a comparison coin. Going to try and get a decent scan and post it on the error forum tomorrow.

    Meh.

Hopefully today's boxes of BWR will be better.

About $140 in loose and CWR of halves from a few banks... nothing. A sealed box of dimes... nothing but a canadian that faked me out. 19 cents out of a coinstar.

Cleaned out another grocery store's halves a day or two ago -- they only had 7, all clad, nothing interesting. Not like the one from last week, which had 18 total, 8 40% and 1 90%. :)

Going to try to hit a couple of new banks this evening if I can get away early enough. My regulars have been coming up dry (no halves of any kind) for a month or so now.

Just finished going threw a box of pennies. The results are: $6.30 in pre 82 pennies. I found 23 wheat pennies the oldest one being a 1930. I feel like my past couple boxes have had a lot of wheat pennies and pre 82 pennies. What is everyone elses average for wheat pennies and pres that search pennies?

Been going through rolls of everything but halves, which my bank never seems to have, and never have been finding anything good. Got a box of dimes and finally found some worth keeping. Found a couple common date silver Roosevelts in decent shape, a 1996 W, 3 2009-D's, and 2 2009-P's

    Question for searchers??

How do you open your Shot gun Rolls of halves ??
I find that one of the most tedious jobs, lol Of the business.
I have tried cutting both ends with a small shears, Then whacking, Or tearing the paper or cutting the roll with a knife but then you may put a cut in something special.
So whats the best or easiest way? I brought home another $410. of Halves just waiting to tear into them.

I use a small pocket knife to unroll the ends of the rolls then use a sharpie to push the coins out, then re-roll them using the NF String & Sons rolls. I used to crack them all open but was a waste to throw away all those good wrappers, they add up after a while...

I do the same thing as you just instead of a pocket knife I use a butter knife.
