OK, here is the problem. I won't have access to my photobucket untill after midnight tonight as I am playing poker after work. Can you guys wait until then for me to post the photo? I will not reveal the price until after Noon on Thursday.
I guess we have not much of a choice. If you have the picture there, just change it to a jpg and attach it. That is how all of my pix are attached.
Yep! I complimented you on how pretty it was even though I couldn't see the dang thing. By the way, that was post #358, and I didn't offer an estimate. Chris
to anyone who can see the picture All you should have to do is save it as a jpg and then attach it in a post. The only reason that might not work would be if the picture is too big. In that case, you will have to either shrink (file size) it or use photobucket or equivalent.
I'm totally confused. At least 2 others copied Paul's picture and it shows up in their posts as well. But whatever - I'll post it for him.
OK, I'll guess $211.00. Don't collect Morgans so have no idea. I'm not a fan of those particular colors, but I can imagine a lot of other people are.
I can see the link, but I cannot see the picture - and I can only see the link when I quote the post. BTW, I can see your picture with out a problem. It is rather small, but legible.
I see the pic in G's post a few up.... The '86 is like a $50 coin in 63. I'll guess Lehigh spent $450 on it, with the thought being the Morgan toner contingent loves green.
p.s. kind of surprised it didn't get a *, but then again NGC is not particularly consistent in awarding it.
Pluses - bright rainbow colors, green Negatives - low grade Not sure how those two go together for toning, so I will try 6X market. That sounds like $228 to me.
I don't see those colors too often, and the luster and satiny reverse are really nice. I think he paid $265 excluding BP & S/H. Chris
Ok I can see the coin now but not in your post Lehigh so based on what I see and the MS63 grade I am going to say you paid $200 for the coin...I certainly feel the coin would sell for at least that much today but being in a 63 holder does limit it somewhat from a price stand point. I feel folks will pay quite a bit more premium for an MS64 coin even though guide values are close...then when you jump to MS65 the premium tends to drop....there are a lot of dynamics when it comes to toned coin buying lol
