    Hi guys,
Just wondering if I should do anything to a 1945 P-mint, 6-step war nickel? I know generally cleaning is a no no, but this coin is in fantastic shape aside from the tarnish. You can tell that a very quick cleaning would make it shine, as the shine still comes through the tarnish a bit. Any recommendations?

    Avoid the temptation!

I wouldn't do a thing to it. It's value will be decreased substantially. If you want a shiny nickel, sell this one and buy one you like you'll be further ahead.

Can you post a photo of the coin. Full Steps is nice but the coin needs to be of gem grade to really be worth a whole lot.

Are you sure it's a full step? Not trying to be nasty but your last "MS70" coin obviously had wear to it.
