Hey guys, finally got what I was looking for. http://tinypic.com/useralbum.php?ua=JqXv45h+ppmZobzwgzvrAQ== 1877-S T$ graded problem free MS60 Breen-5811 by the old ANACS company. However, there's an ongoing debate whether the lines on the coin are from an old cleaning or die polishing. I just wanted your opinions too. Under magnification the lines break at the devices and continue after the devices. There doesn't seem to be any lines on the devices themselves. Thanks Dan
Huh? I have no idea what you are talking about. I am new to this, so I'm sorry. I assume you mean I interupted your thread. I humbly appologize. I just totally don't get all of the hostility on this Coin Talk. Virtually everyone with a very small exception are rude. Whatever pal. Have a nice day.
If you have a question about a coin it would be best to create a new thread about that coin. If it was the same year/mintmark it might fit to ask it in this thread but since it is a completely unrelated coin it would best for your situation and for stealer's for it to be in its own thread. As far as the trade dollar I would guess cleaning but the fact that you don't see any lines along the arm or eagle's wing makes me unsure. Either way it looks to be a great coin.
I started a new one for you. But it's easy to do. When you click on any section like US Coins at the top left of the page you will see a button that says Post New Thread. Just click on that and follow the prompts As for the coin - those are not die polish lines. They are hairlines from either mishandling or an old wipe. But ANACS obviously thought they were light enough to still grade the coin. NGC and PCGS do the same thing.
