I recently started searching rolls of Canadian Quarters. Oldest found was 1916 in G condition. Have found a lot of Us quarters including at least one of each state quarter. No US silver yet.

What kind of frequency are you finding silver with in Canadian quarters?

I am currently averaging about one silver for every 10 rolls, but when I do find silver, there is usually more than one silver in that roll.

Nice. I found my first and only VDB in a roll of Canadian cents last year, but much more worn than yours.

Nothing huge, but found a nice mix of keepers in a box of halves last weekend.

Four CWR nickels... my first found buff, a 37, and 4 pre 60. One CWR of halves... nothing. Picked up a canada cent and a uk penny out of a coinstart bin.

Anyone searching halves see an increase in the # of 1987 coins? I went from having never found a 1987, to finding a 1987 S in a box a few weeks ago, and now in the last week I have found 5 1987 P and 4 1987 D, all of which appear to be mint state coins.

Thats a good find. You guys down there in TX seem to have access to more CWR than anyone. It's a rare occasion that I can find 100 bucks in CWR even if I stop at 30 banks.

    Keep it up

Finished a box of halves today:

    1 x 40%: 1968D
    3 x NIFC's: 2003P, 2004D, 2008D

I came across another half and when I saw it I knew it was silver. I was looking at the reverse side and when I flipped it over it was the reverse side again...hmmm...
Turns out it's a magician's coin. It was definitely made of silver. "Hey you wanna flip for it?"
