I picked this up today at the show from my dealer. It's condition is a little rough but it is a nice miscut with the secondary note showing at the bottom of the front:
I'm new to collecting paper money so forgive me for my lack of knowledge. I recently came across some coins and paper money my Dad left me when he passed. It's been 9 months and I am just now able to go through and see what is in the collection he had. I've only had time to photograph a couple of items: 1973 $1 Canada Dollar with a serial number starting with AAU. I have not been able to find any information about this dollar. It's intriguing and I would like to know more if anyone had details they can share with me. Please??? It has the Lawson/Bouey signature if that means anything. Does anyone know of this dollar? I will post more pics soon of the other paper money he left me. He sure did leave my mind wandering about the possibilities of collecting more I'm pretty excited!
