Spain 10 cents 1940/41 : Where is the commentary?

    It's in the ribbon on the left column on the reverse. Probably not visible on a coin in less than XF condition.

    Wow! So much intricate detail in that coin!! I have so many of those and none with lettering on it!!!

    As far as I know, there is a second variety - with the "Latin style" VNA instead of UNA. By the way, the small unit of the peseta was called céntimo. So this is a 10 céntimos coin. While "peseta(s)" was often abbreviated PTA(S), "céntimos" was sometimes written as "CENTs" or "CTS" ...
