I've been looking around here for a little while and thought I would give a report. I did my first box of halves a couple weeks ago... 2 40%'s. Today, 3 CRW and got 17 40%'s. NICE. I also picked up a couple rolls of nickels... 2 pre 1960 and a 1987 Bahamas five cent.

stop today at one of the sorting machine and got 33 dollars in halves and got 1 40 and au 06 to fill a hole.

I have done 4 boxes since I started this past time and only gotten 2 64's, 3 40% and 3 NIFC.

Have done about 500 in havles from the sorting machiines and have gotten 3 64, 13 40% and 7 NIFC. also filled 6 holes in my book from these coins .

Do not think I will get any more boxes.

 

Also did 10 dollars in cents and got 5 common wheats and $2.50 in copper.

 

If I could get bags, I wouldn't be doing boxes either. Impossible to get bags around here though.

 

4 silver dimes out of a box, including 2 for the album (52 & 48)

 

$500 box of Halves,silver shut out but 1 2003 and 1 2007 keepers

 

$20 in nickels yielded one 1944-P and a 1942, about a dozen pre-1960s. Only one 2010 in all 10 rolls.

 

got a box of half dollars i found 3 1964 and 7 40% half dollars not bad I was surprised! I have had gone through about 8 boxes being skunked didnt even want to buy it to begin with.

My first 74D DDO! It's in pretty lousy shape, but I don't care. It's still cool to find one. And with it, I have completed the business strike portion of my "Everything in Red Book" Kennedy half collection. Nothing left now but most of the proof strikes!

Well with the Wachovia -> Wells Fargo switch over the line at the bank was horrible today but I got my usual box of Nickels and box of Pennies and much to my surprise the box of Nickels is a brand new box of 2010's YAY!

But the best part was the dump bank allowed me to pull some coins out of the half dollar bag after I filled it:

I love it when you get a bank employee that allows you to rummage through the bag of coins that they are removing from the machine nice catches!

well just opened an account with another bank and will be getting 1 box of Half dollars next wednesday hoping to find some great stuff

 

Did 3 boxes of halves last week, and found $50 in CWR.

total take, 1 1964, 2 40%ers, and 4 proofs. One of the proofs filled a hole....only need a couple more proofs to get em all....
