not sure how you got that date since you didnt post this at 10:10 and 10 seconds. i googled binary notes and closest i have is a (trinary) IF 88777711 D $20. in my search i found this which may be of interest http://www.dbrcurrency.com/market/binary-notes.htm and then this decoder and encoder which makes the correct date of "10 10 10" into "00110001 00110000 00100000 00110001 00110000 00100000 00110001 00110000" somehow your date decodes to "a" http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ i know im such a nerd.

the $100 note does look real to me - nothing jumps out at me to say its fake. As to if its worth the asking price - not even close.
