If it is genuine, it is what is called a Spade Guinea. It should weigh 8.35 grams, just under a 1/4 oz of gold. The value would be the gold of course plus a small premium because of the poor condition of the coin.
ok cool, yeah it not that good condition, lol its better then it was, it was bent when i found it on the beach, and my dad hit it with a hammer to make it flat. lol
Yeah I know I could see that. Be aware that there are many, many counterfeits of this coin. I do not see anything that makes me think this one is fake, but the odds are good it could be. Take it to a jeweler and have it weighed. If the weight is correct then odds are good it is genuine.
