    Idea #37

    'Amazing Numismatic Race'

A longer running contest. Contestants enter before a cut off time. Those entered are dispatched on a hunt for world coins/notes. You first instruct them to find a particular note, say the clue is a particular design of a Canadian note. Based on clues you give, the nation is determined and/or other info about the coin/note is provided. Answers are PMed. The last one to PM the answer is eliminated. Next you provide the next clue and another country is 'visited' followed by an elimination. Go by the Amazing Race TV show for ideas about non-elimination rounds or asking for additional info in the form of 'road-blocks'.

LOL! It does sound that way, but we have actually had a CT member hold such a contest!

    Idea #38

Latin on coins and notes contest.

Sure we know E Pluribus Unum, Annuit Coeptis and Novus Ordo Seclorum... but there are others, particularly on older notes. Ask for a list of the phrases, the notes they appeared on and to provide translations into English. The most listed wins.

    Idea #39

Identify the most numeric "1" devices engraved onto any one side of any Series of US note ever issued. Most listed for one note, providing the Series of that note, wins.

That was hard! I didn't quite make it to a round number of ideas like 40, but I had fun trying to invent ideas. Thanks for the chance.
