I don't have a question here, it's simply an old theft and conviction or a coin collection from the early 60's. It's good to read a case where and when someone is actually caught and has to pay the price of breaking the law. I just wanted to pass it on. http://ftp.resource.org/courts.gov/c/F2/349/349.F2d.907.17894.html
I thought it was interesting that the thieves tried to sell the stolen coins at "Loser's Coin Store".
I noticed that as well. It was also interesting that the dealer lived with his mother and had a paper route (sort of).
WOW! I just read it all. A roll of BU 1955-S Pennies for $35 retail back then? That was a lot in the '60's, and the price is the same today!!! Check eBay; same exact price as then!!!
