Just got a new scope that I plug into my computer. This is my first stab at a photo: I have a full spectrum light over it, and only made a minor adjustment to the brightness through the software to match the intensity/color to what I see when looking at the coin. Question is - if you saw this pic on Ebay, would you think it's a good photo? I know you can't compare it to the REAL coin, just looking for how the photo looks. I know it looks 20 times better (and took me about 20 times less) than a picture through a handlens in front of my digital camera. For the record, I don't plan on selling it - I just randomly picked out one of my Indians. Comments/suggestions/feedback appreciated.

If you read eBay, you will see that they recommend that your pix be at least 1000 X 1000. Is it better than a hand held loupe, Yes. Is it as good as most pix on eBay, No.

FWIW, for being only 640 X 480, it is not to bad a pic. If that were just the date or so, it would be a very nice pic.

Not bad at all! If you crop the pic to the edge of the coin then you will get more of the coin and less of the background. Let's see some more!
