I was on this website daily until I started getting virus threat warnings, I still check occasionally and still get the warnings. I had heard that the dealer hosting the site had health (passed away?) issues and I believe at least another poster here also was a member there so can anyone shed some light on this? It was a good site for us toner freaks.
I have done business with Shane, he sells some incredible coins, I was hoping for an answer from him.
I always wanted to join but my MAC will not allow me to view the site. You are refereeing to TCCS correct? If so there are quite a few members here.:thumb:
I am a member of the TCCS. You can read about what happened in the NGC forum thread linked below. TCCS Update
I met Gary at a local coin show a few years ago and was aware that he passed away. I had hoped the site would be back up by now, island coins site is still up and seems to be updated.
Unfortunately the site is not up and it looks like it may never be up again. I have been in talks with Ron Sirna (site founder) about having the site moved over to the ANA server but with the only available image of the site is infected with the virus so it looks like that can't happen. None of the passwords or anything else are available at the admin levels as those were lost with Gary when he passed. I loved the site and think it had a lot of potential but alas it looks like we will never see it up and running again.
