Manchukuo (Japanese puppet state in Northeastern China), Y#8, 5g cu-ni 10 fen/1 chiao, dated Ta Tung 6 (1939).

Also 20-1 in the JNDA Catalog.

Krause value as pictured is about $2, and JNDA value is 400 yen; but Manchukuo coins have recently been going for at least two to four times catalog.

Many thanks, hontonai ... With your help, I have now located this in Kraus 2010 Standard Catalog of World Coins.

    Slight correction - it's K'ang-te 6 (1939).

    I also have a Ta T'ung 2 (1933) 5 fen, and a Ta T'ung 3 (1934) 5 fen.
