Umm, if that 1889 CC is real, in that condition, its about $500 itself. The 1888-S is worth while too, again if they are real.
How are you so sure? Some fakes are so good that even some "experts" can't tell the difference. I'm not playing you down, but I'm just being the devil's advocate. A real 1889CC in G4, possibly AG3, which is what I would grade yours, is worth upwards of $450. The 1888S is also worth quite a chunk of money. Why in the world would you buy them raw?
If they're real, I'm curious to know why someone would give away these coins at a mere fraction of their worth. Was the gun loaded? Chris
If they're real...you got a deal...or perhaps a steal. BTW, I love that 89 CC, something about CC Morgans in the lower grades just inspires my imagination.
