Hello everyone this is my first post! I am still learning a lot about coins and I am looking forward to learning even more from this site...
013.JPG 014.JPG Up first is this coin I found in my basement it is only about a half inch aross and I can't find any information on this coin. It says DEE GOLD on the front and the #4 on the back as you can see. Any help and maybe even a price would be Great!

018.jpg Secondly I need advice on this Indian head coin... Is it worth more like it is as a tie holder for a dress shirt or should I take the coin out and have it just as a coin? I don't think this one is worth a whole lot but it has more sentimental value than anything.

Also, I apologize for the poor quality... there really is a technique for taking close up pictures and I don't seem to have that knack yet.

    Thanks
    Mike B.

    The first thingee.... no idea.

I'd leave the cent in the holder. It's already damaged from the prongs. Keep it as a sentimental piece.

Thanks for the opinion and reply... I have searched for a few hours and cannot come up with anything on the DEE GOLD coin... I like it because of how small it is. Is there any way that I can tell if it is gold? It seems as if it has been punched out of a piece of metal because of the striations on the side.
Again Thanks and sorry for my ignorance!

There is a "DEE GOLD Mines" site on Google. You might take a look there and see if it's related. To find out if it's gold, take it to a jeweler and have it tested.

Feel free to post and ask questions! Everybody here is pretty helpful.
