Looks like a sweet coin, but I would be humble enough to ask Mark for an in hand inspection. And if bidding 45K I think it would be better if you looked at it yourself.

I will be attending the coinfest show and auction in person. would never consider bidding at this level without inspection.

I pay my doctor, but he keeps telling me things I don't want to hear! :(

If I were a potential bidder, I would want to inspect the coin either myself, and or have a reputable dealer to act in my behalf if I could not be present. So big deal, they get a % for providing their services. I would gladly take mark up on his kind offer, no question about it.

You obviously don't know anything about Mark Feld. He was merely being honest and forthright in his response. You said that you have been collecting for 30 years, but that really doesn't mean anything. I know people who have been playing pool for 30+ years, and they still aren't any good.

If you don't like my comments, then you are within your right to ask me to leave, but you're too late.

    lol @ Chris

    I bet he's still watching :D

And rawbuyer Mark is thought of very highly around here so try not to take this personal as I think both of you are being taken the wrong way.
Good luck with the coin if you decide to go thru with it.
