I was after a bobcat, and found one! Came yesterday (found on E-Bay); 1867-1967 Canadian Commemorative Quarter, BU mint. Some will say it's a lynx, but it actually is a bobcat. Here is a link to the write-up about the design: http://www.coinscan.com/des/1967d.html (in case anyone wants to see..) After looking at the other designs for that year, I think I'll go for them all. Thank you for lettiing me share. Sorry, no photo -- I can't seem to take one that doesn't have glare -- gee the coin is sure shiny! Maybe a piddly coin to numismatists; not sure; but I love it!p.s. The coin was made 2 ways in 1967: 80% silver/20%copper, and 50% silver/50%copper. I have no idea which way MY coin was made.
A W E S O M E shots! Either would make a great screen saver. I'm going for the real deal this coming January! Thanks for the photos! Lucy
