A couple of months ago, I was talking with a family member about coins. I told them what I like to collect US coin wise and told them I keep all the Canadian pennies that I find. They proceeded to tell me they had a few along with some other foreign coins that they had. Well long story short after much haggling back and forth I was forced to accept these for a smile. Along with about a hundred Canadian pennies from the 50's, 60's & 70's, I recieved these. I know a little about some of them and alot about most of them. I was hoping some of you guys could help me out. Especially about the very worn waffled edged one in the top row. Thanks for any help. Hope the scans turned out ok.
Have an idea what the coin with the square hole in the middle might be? I was guessing Japanese...but really I have no idea. I do believe the Canadian dime from 1959 is silver though.
The dime is silver .800. This might help with the Oriental coin. I think it may be Chinese: http://www.sportstune.com/chinese/coins/idpage.html
There's a few other members that will be able to help you out with that one. I don't have any reference material regarding foreign coins.
