clay - nice write up! Mind sharing where you found it? The detail about the note, including the signature looks much beter then the write ups in krause!!
My wife is Thai and I invested more than a year studying Thai language for 8 hours a week. As a result, I can read the signatures. I matched the signatures against the tenures of the Ministers of Finance and the Governors of the Bank of Thailand from Thai Web site. For example: http://www.bot.or.th/English/AboutBOT/Governors/Pages/ListOfGovernor.aspx I constructed my own signature ID page: http://www.panix.com/~clay/currency/Thailand-Signatures.html FYI - The worst error for Thai signatures that Krause did was this one: Standard Catalog of® World Paper Money, Modern Issues, 1961-Present, 15th Edition incorrectly indicates Pedro Malan who was the Minister of Finance for Brazil from 01 January 1995 - 31 December 2002 Additional information about the notes was obtained from an excellent book from Singapore - King Rama IX On the Auspicious Occassion of His Majesty's 80th Birthday by Peter Eu and Ben Chiew.
Wow clay, just had a look at your link and what an incredible piece of work. Even pictures of the signatories! I've added it to my favorites for future reference. I live in Thailand and it was going to be a future project of mine to construct a comprehensive list of signatures from Thai notes. You've saved me that job now, well done. I too have a Thai wife but I'm afraid my Thai is abysmal to say the least. Just can't get my vocal cords around the tonal thing and I'm afraid of calling my mother-in-law a dog! Being from Yorkshire, England we only employ one tone (somewhere between droll and sarcastic).
thats awsome clay! I too bookmarked it for helping me sort out the sigs on my thai notes! Very nice!!!

<<Yes. He was born in Mount Auburn Hospital. His father studied Public Health at Harvard and obtained an M.D. cum laude, and his mother was a nursing student. >> That's what I thought. When I tried to verify it on-line (quick search) last night, all I could find was that his father received a certificate in public health.
