I am trying to sell my 2009 UHR double eagle, and recently noticed a vertical crack on one of the edges of the protective plastic holder the coin came in. No idea how it got there, but I need a replacement. Anyone have one lying around, or know where I can find one?
What you're referring to is the mint capsule and if the crack is only on the edge, I wouldn't worry about it. Did you remove the coin from the capsule at some point? If you really want a replacement then eBay would be a place to check. Remember the UHR is .999 fine gold and scratches very easily so be careful.
