I picked up some 2010 Siler proof sets today at the Philadelphia Mint. I found the Hot Springs one to be very interesting. It seems to have a "TEXTURED" finish in the fields.
Has any one else seen this?

Another point of interest, why do the put a set of Presidential Coins in a Silver Proof Set to begin with? Obviously they are not silver and are not struck at the San Francisco Mint like the other non-silver coins. I think it is because they are trying their best to unload all these unpopular dollars. It's the same standard Presidential Proof Set you buy separately, that's not the case of the other two sets.

The Presidentials are included for the same reason the Sacagawea, Lincoln, and Jefferson are included. Specifically, it's a "set" of proof coins that were minted for the year and has absolutely nothing to do with "unloading" unpopular coins.

Take another look Sam. Mine have "S" 's. If yours are lacking an "S" mint mark you might have something there.
