Hello, I have a coin from my childhood (got it when I was 4) that I've always held onto, and now I'm just curious if there's any market for it. They were only available for a month and 10 days. Aside from some wear around the edges of the card, I think it's mint. Anyone? Buehler? it's the first 4 pics when you click on http://s598.photobucket.com/albums/tt70/guroo270/ this link I also have that 1776-1976 silver dollar that I was curious about, but I'm sure there's a million of them, no? Thanks
Check eBay - they seem to be going for $150+, if it's the 5 ounce silver coin. EDIT : Actually, the ones priced that high are going unsold. A hundred is more like it, and that's less than melt value. Joe
The bronze coin that you have, it looks more like they are going unsold for $10. That is probably about the right price, it just looks like high supply and low demand. The Bicentennial Ike, unless somehow exceptional (Proof or Mint State), is worth keeping for sentimental value and for an example in your collection.
seriously? 10 bucks for the snow white thing? I thought that serial # was high but GD... Good news for the silver dollar though. I can't wait until I go back to my parent's house and pick up my grandpa's collection of stuff from WWI, WWII era. Lots of buffalo nickels, rolls of them. The coolest thing though are his little meal ticket coupons. He also left me his books of organized 1887-1945 pennies. Any thoughts on any of those? I'm positive there's nothing MINT, looked like all circulated stuff, but really neat.
