Found an odd one mixed in with a bunch of Morgans its currently sealed in this plastic wrapper that I didn't want to remove until I knew what I was dealing with. Can remove if necessary. Any insight is greatly appreciated as I even less about this than I do Morgans which is very little.
check out this site for Ikes.. http://eisenhowerdollarguide.com/ http://eisenhowerdollarguide.com/1976-eisenhower-dollar-varieties/ It appears as though yours is a type 2. According to the 2010 redbook, a 1976 (P and D) are valued at roughly $6 in ms63 condition.
Nor does the wrapper hurt the value. The coin is a Type 2 reverse. If interested in Ike dollars, check out: ikegroup.org
Type 1 has wide lettering on the reverse. The type 2 lettering is much thinner. The difference is dramatic and instantly noticeable if you have one of each variety side by side. As for the value, for example, I retail them at $2.15. ACE Mike
