Can someone tell me about the steel cents of this year? I've heard that some will stick to a magnet, and others won't. Why and why not, and what's the difference? Also, what's my best source for searching? Appreciate any help you have.

All the cents that year were made out of zinc coated steel, the copper was needed for the war. A few cents were made from copper, those are the ones worth a bunch of money. There have been a lot of the steel cents copper coated or dates altered to look like the real ones. There are a a lot of fakes out there, only a few real ones. The steel ones stick to a magnet, the copper ones won't.
