I have a penny that is the same size as a dime and only the raised edges/outline of Abraham Lincoln are visible on the front, and only the raised edges/outline of the Lincoln memorial are visible on the back the rest of the coin is entirely blank. Please view the photos and let me know what you think! Thanks
Hi! You have a "spooned" coin. Here is an explanation of what you have and how it was done http://conecaonline.org/content/OhNo0031.htm
No, it's considered a damaged coin. It won't work as a dime and has only 1 cent face value in commerce IF you can get a cashier to accept it.
As others have said above and on your other thread (same coin - same question) your cent probably spent some time tumbling around inside a commercial clothes dryer. It has no value above face.
