I'm cataloging a collection of Buffalo Numismatic Association medals (1927 to 1976). Some of these are attributed by a previous owner as "Golding", "Duragold", and "Wissegold". I think these are variations on either brass or bronze.

Google searches have come up with little information.

Can anyone confirm this and hopefully even give some more detail.

    Thanks,

    Woops! That's "Goldine", not "Golding".

    Sorry,

I've seen the history at the BNA's web site. Now I'm trying to find out more about these alloys. Google has also found references for a jewelry brand name called Duragold, but I assume that's not related to the alloy.
