Here are some new purchases I picked up for my personal collection that I thought I'd share. They are all very different from each other, but I find each one of them beautiful, especially the 1861 copper nickel since it is SO hard to find toned copper nickel Indian cents - it reminds me of a warm western sunset. And the 1900 has a beautiful cameo look to it with soft red fields. Also the 1918-D has an extremely crisp strike with subtle iridescent magenta blue tones.

Beautiful Charmy! Very very nice. What's going on with the last one? I guess it must not be wear because they graded it so high. But somethings happening on the obverse high points.

You describe coins like an artist would. I especially liked the 1861 coin. Thanks for posting.

When I first saw this, I thought it was going to be the typical Charmy post where you show us all these great coins, but then you went and posted all these ugly ones. ;)

The 18-D and 27-D are both amazing. I love brown copper with a blue tint. What a great collection you're putting together.
