That's one a NICE MPL Badthad. Very nice toning :hail: EDIT: Or is that a MPL? I noticed because of the rims.
Yeah, in fact after reading all the good advice on this thread, I went and dipped that 81 CC morgan in jewel lustre for about five minutes, it stripped the frost right off the lady's face and made the proof like fields nice and flat and dull, it looks great now...I think.
I just told somebody to dip there MS-70 81 CC! It looks brand new. I said I would buy it for 10 bucks.
By far this is my most beautiful coin. Lincoln's expression is so sad and unhappy due probably to the war. This coin has been in my family at least 80-85 years.
Here's my favorite old gal! It's difficult to find a gold coin who looks this good after so much wear!!
Beautiful Lincoln commemorative Zekeguzz with one of the best eagle's on a United States coin in my opinion. Here's another United States commemorative with an equally nice eagle...
Thanks hiho. Yes, the eagle on your coin is certainly beatiful too. That is one interesting coin. I can't find it in my Redbook or Blackbook. Can you reference me toward something before I start tearing up the internet looking for it. Great pics of it.
