I was thumbing through my collecting the other day, and stumbled upon this coin that i've never seen before in there. It actually has two dates on it, 1973 on the front, and 1967 on the back. It's a bit bigger than a quarter in diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated
It's a Greek 20 Drachmai (Drachmas) The 1967 date may relate to the accession of King Constantine II. The 1973 is the date of issue. The reverse of yours has a wide rim so it's KM#111.3, value in Fine 0.50c and VF $1.00
Just one thing - the date "21 April 1967" refers to the military coup. Note the soldier in front of the Phoenix. (Formally Greece was still a kingdom, hence the "Basileion ..." inscription.)
