    Latest one to arrive today is the Chinese Pagoda at Kew gardens built in 1762by Sir William Chambers, it stands about 50 meters high and is stunning :smile

    I have every 50 pence coin up untill 2009 bar 1973s and 1992s.

    1973: Commemorates the UK's accession to the European Economic Community.
    1992–3: Commemorates the completion of the EC single market and the British presidency of the EC.


    I also have many from our over sea territories and places like the Channel islands and isle of man.
    I just got them all out and arraged to take a photo...but my camera is broken all of a sudden...which is upsetting.

    Steve the Victoria cross is my favorite of them, alas i only have a few but i do have the 2000 proof library issue.
    thanks for sharing as there is some deigns that i have not seen before, and yet we live so close but yet to far away:smile the Scottish one is cool is as well

    TRhank you Dave, I have a couple more on the way, the Blue Peter winner and the Girl guides so still need a couple of earlier issues to finish things off :D Might try and get the VC in silver proof as well

    We have a childrens TV programe over here in the UK called Blue Peter, and it recently ran a compertition to design one of the new 2012 Olympic/Para Olympic games 50p coins well this is the winner :D

    It was designed by a young lady called Florence from Bristol aged 8 :D

    They intend to issue a whole range of them depicting both events
