A lot of people often get confused between Norwegian & Danish coins,as the Danish & Norwegian languages are very close to one another in the same way that the Finnish language is close to the Estonian language,& the Faeroese language is close to the Icelandic language.Even experienced collectors such as Doug, myself, plus many others make mistakes in identifying languages. It is human nature.No-one's perfect in this world.

    Not Norwegian

    Hi again.

I was also sure this was a Norwegian coin, due to the mintmark wich I really believed was the crossed hammers. But I checked with some experts here in Norway, and it is definitly a Danish coin. I will find the Sieg number for it, wich is the scandinavian coin catalog.

But 100% sure this is a Danish coin, with "glodehaker" mintmark.
Look close at the mintmark an d you will she that what looks like a hammer is much sharper than the Norwegain crossed hammer symbols.
