If it's against forum rules to not post a picture I apologize. Any hints/tips on getting a close up picture in clear condition would be really appreciated. I have a Nikon D90, but I don't have a lens that can get close enough. Ocean View nickel - Perfect condition. 1963 Nickel - In OK Condition - Not sure what to look for on this..Please ask if more information is needed. 1964 Nickel - In ok Condition - Not sure what to look for on this..Please ask if more information is needed. x 3 $2 Bills ...need more information? Please ask not sure what else to tell about them haha. 1971 Half Dollar - Nothings missing on it, in Pretty good condition. x 2 1979 Silver Dollars - Nothing missing that I know of, in very good condition. x 2 2000 Gold Dollars (Sacajawea) - Also in very good condition. John Adams Gold Dollar - In ok condition George Washington Gold Dollar - In great condition. Please let me know the prices with the condition I suggested. I know I'm not helping you help me out much, but as I said my camera's can't get the picture clearly. If I need to look for anything missing that may make the coin more valuable please let me know Thanks so much!
If you could provide the rough grade in the sheldon scale, we would be able to help a lot more... go snag a 2011 red book. it will give you a general guide as to how to grade your coins and you can get a basic idea of price on them.
I absolutely double concur! Sorry amigo but all those coins can still be found in circulation and you really do not have anything special. Keep looking and welcome! :thumb:!!! Maybe not in circulation but nothing worth any money!
Since three times a charm... I triple concur. Only thing would be if one of those $2 bills is a star note.
Those are pretty common coins... I believe the pennies would be worth 2-3cents each, but just for metal value.
Currently it is illegal to melt US Cents and Nickels. You can save them and wait for the day the ban is lifted.
Wheat cents go for about 3 to 4 cents a piece once you've collected enough for a roll (50). The two dollar bills might be worth more if they have a different color seal. Is it green like the rest of your money? Or is it red? The other coins.....face value.
Well, crud just my luck ...Oh well, no the two dollar bills' seal are the green ones. Oh well, I enjoyed finding these..hopefully will get more rare ones. Thanks for the help. Obviously you can all tell I'm new now..haha.
i dont see any pics, but you might want to take a look through the error coins section to get an idea of what to look for. errors (although have to be fairly large) could bring some value.
Nothing wrong with being new. All of us were "new" at one time. Welcome to the forum and to collecting....
