Oh, funny story with those: I almost bought the whole set a few years ago when I first started collecting. I was on the phone with the customer service rep for about 10 minutes and finally found the trick: They wanted like $20 bucks or something like that for each $2 bill plus the sleeve! OUTRAGEOUS!!!

I hate this because when I have to explain to a customer that what you paid for was over priced regular coins or paper money. Then they become angry and tell me I'm telling a lie ...... Told this one lady that all the silver certificates and red 2's and 5's were not worth anything but face. Told her I had some fives that I can't get seven dollars for and they were almost uncl. This is when I try and buy some bills or coins.

This appeals to the same collectors that fill up a cardboard map of the U.S. with state quarters they find in their pocket change. It's novel at best.

As someone who filled up a map with state quarters I found in my pocket change, I can tell you uncategorically that these notes are not appealing to me.

This appears TO ME as something THAT MAY appeal to SOME of the collectors that filled up a cardboard map of the U.S. with state quarters they found in their pocket change. It's novel at best.
I sincerely hope this post does not offend any of our fellow collectors.

$2 notes ripping off the US Mint's National Parks Quarters program

I've been seeing TV spots from the New England Mint selling these so called Yellowstone and Grand Canyon National Parks "Enhanced" $2 notes

They're hideous! and for the low-low price of $14.95! :rollling:

What a laugh! $30???, "parchment" CoA??? LOL!

i gotta say, i do like the enhancements to an otherwise old and pretty stale design .... but unique? 20...$30 EACH????? i dont think these really appeal to anyone other then those who fall victim to the lies and hype that these notes are worth so much more then the asking price. In the end, they will only be angry when they try to sell ....

Only 48 more of them to come right!

At least the more of these "mints" destroy the rarer the untouched notes become...

theres all kinds of stuff people will buy. ive seen adds on ebay for rare off center coin, and when i look at it it looks almost perfectly centered. or you could call in to one of those late night tv ads stating that these coins will only be made in limited numbers, get yours now, they are real 999 silver clad reproductions and are real collectibles only 24.95 plus 10.00 shipping and handling (for a fake plated silver dollar.) how many of these do you think actually get sold? my answer is tons, since even late night commercials cost lots, and those ads never seem to go away.
