My first find

I found this coin last week on my first ever bank roll search. I bought $20 in dimes and this fell out of the second roll. It may noot be anything special as far as Mercury Dimes go, but I sure like it, and it lit the fire for more to come.

Thanks, I couldn't believe that it rolled out. As soon as I cracked the roll it seperated from the rest of the coins instantly.

mercury from 1940s by rollsearching is common well at least for me. Grats though

It's not exactly "common". I get one per every 5-7 bank boxes. Considering each one is $250 x .10 = 2500 x 5 = 12500 dimes. 1:12500 isn't common

Now, it's a tad bit more common in customer wrapped rolls.

Thanks. As for the Micro S, I am not sure. I just learned what that is yesterday and need to dig out my loupe to see it closer. I do believe it may be though.

i've searched around 8 boxes of dimes i've gotten 3 mercs 5 rosevelt's...either way there i still sometimes think its not worth roll searching as there only about 1.50ea...its still free so i guess
