This coin is made out of some cheap metal that is now peeled like a banana. Its no bigger than a U.S. dime.

Front side has a face facing the right.

Obverse side has a soldier standing up with his right arm in the air. He is holding two weapons I beleive in his hands.

Many letters on the out skirts of the faces; but I cannot make out what it says,
    I beleive this coin is

    Roman or Greece

Without photos no one here could do any better than take a guess.

    BTW, welcome to CoinTalk.

    In response to Hobo:

THANKS for the welcome. I really have taken an interest in (mainly U.S.) coins recently.

Also, I do not have a camera to post any pics of it... Well I could find one I suppose....

    BRB,

The description you gave fits many, many coins. I do not collect ancient coins but there are a number of anciet collectors here that could tell you in an instant what you have - - - if they can see photos of the coin. To be useful the photos should be in focus with the coin well lit (but not with a bunch of glare) and with the coin shot straight on (not at an angle).

Post good photos and I'm sure you will have your answer very quickly.

A portrait with legends around on a dime size coin (not particularly thicker) is probably 4th century AD Roman but, as has been said, a photo would help. Lay it on a scanner with the lid up, prescan and adjust the crop just to the coin and see if you get an image. We need both sides.

The peeling like a banana would probably be due to its sitting in the ground unprotected for 1400+ years. Lots of late Roman coins are in that shape, and unless extremely rare or desirable are effectively valueless. This is what commonly gets sold on Ebay as "uncleaned".
