Accidental or situational interest in coins, such as k=finding something unusual, or it catches my eye. I appreciate going to the experts with questions. Also,of course, hoping the find of the century will show up, on the ground, with noary another sould in sight, in front of my golashes, whereupon, I pick it up, go to my friends the numismatists, and you know the story! Actually, I like the stories that go with interesting coins, and may have a few questions of my finds along the way. Thanks for indulging me.
