Well i've collected coins since I was 12 so over 16 years, coins has been a hobby that has never seemed to tire. Every so often i find a new coin to look up then study either circulation or cultural significance. Just 4 years ago I developed a major affinity for foreign coins, majority being old English, German, Irish and French. So forthe entire year of 2012 while i was out of work in a transitional phase in my life leaving the military just a year ago that point my old time hobby kept me happy in a time of tribulations and doubt. Coins tie into my oldest hobby learning history which i started doing when i was only 10 i was obsessed with the civil war a history teacher knowing that I had such a fondness for old things or historical documents such as civil war maps gave me 2 copies of maps and my very first major old coin which developed into a curiosity. A 1905 Indian head penny, after that I just had to know more so i took books from the library and became fascinated by the old coins of the 17th 18th 19th century so it just became an ongoing study ever since. Id like to learn from other collectors, share stories, knowledge and our affinity for what makes our life complete thank you for reading see you on the boards.
