About
Hi Coin Community,
My name is Cheryl and I have not spent change since Feburary of this year, 2018!
It was a Saturday, when I broke out the high school change water jug, that I had lugged around for over 30 yrs.
Our small town local grocer was low on change for the weekend, I was more than happy to accommodate with some change for cash.
While separating, He proudly produced an 1863 2 cent pattern coin someone had used to buy beer! He shared some knowladge of US coins, what he's collected and the crazy return on an investment of 1cent with Us Mint error penny's. WOW! I was more than intrigued.
My OCD has been very productive and obsessive in researching, sorting, looping, web surfing, re-sorting, capsuling, web surfing, re-checking and cataloging my Modern Lincoln Memorial cent collection from my high school 5 gal water jug, since Feb of this year.
I still think about all those coins I accommodated that grocer with, in trade for cash! LOL!
There is an unspoken law, while in my company, the only change spending will be the time spent putting it in my palm for a dollar bill! Ha! Ha! Seriously.
Hey, collecting skills is better than loosing em, right?
I' am a novice, fledgling, newbee Coin Roller in a relationship with circulated modern coins, who just recently noticed that the patina on a Lincoln Memorial Penny could be really Pretty!Interact
