:rolleyes:I am new to this forum and trying to figure it out. I've just purchased an 1869 Indian Head cent on ebay. The photos on ebay didn't reveal that it appeared double struck on the obverse and only noticable under high magnification. The reverse is about 20 degrees off verticle compared to the obverse. Could this be a mint error or is it a counterfeit? I can provide images if anyone wants a look, but of course the off verticle images won't be obvious. Not sure if I should be smiling or frowning.
