Hobo, A question regarding the Bashlow restrikes of the Confederate cents. I have some of the double thickness variety and some of a single thickness variety, what's the difference? Would one be a first and the other second restrkes? Feel free to let me know, thanks in advance.

Hi Hobo.I took my 1974 pennie to a coin show today. many had Opinions and found it very interesting that it was attracted to magnet, and it didn"t appear to be torched. No rainbow dicoloration. I have been advised to send it off,to be examined and possibly graded,or at least determine what it is.

Hobo, you are one of the smartest CoinTalkers around, can you answer a question for me?

Are proof coins high(er) relief than a business strike? Or High just high relief in general...
